Jiminy Cricket Pins
Jiminy may be small, as crickets are, but he's far from your average cricket. He has nearly an inexhaustible supply of home brewed common sense. It's no wonder he's chosen by the Blue Fairy to be Pinocchio's official conscience.
It's only after he agrees to his assignment as "Lord High Keeper of the Knowledge of Right and Wrong, Counselor in Moments of Temptation, and Guide along the Straight and Narrow Path," that he realizes what a job he has gotten himself into.
And like any conscience, Jiminy is sometimes late for the job, and usually ignored even when he is around. Fortunately, Jiminy is quite persistent, and he eventually succeeds in getting through to Pinocchio and putting him back on the right path.
