Pocahontas Pins
Pocahontas, whose name means "Little Mischief," is based on a true historical figure. She was from a highly sophisticated Indian culture that had some knowledge of Europeans. So when she encounters John Smith, a moment of magic occurs as she's not afraid and he doesn't want to hurt her.
A friendship is born and a small, but powerful bridge between two cultures is formed. As their friendship grows, Pocahontas shows John Smith how to live with nature instead of destroying it. She shows him how to "paint with all the colors of the wind." He starts to realize that this "new" world he is discovering is worth more than gold. A lesson for many of use today.
